Get it! Hope you had a wonderful time out there. Call me when you've got a free moment.
Glad you made it back safely. So, while you were there, did you do anything I wouldn't do?
Did I do anything you wouldn't? Erm, I kissed 4 women, lost weight, read a book and a half, got invited to 4 homes, walked several hours a day, was taken shopping, bought a hijab in every colour I desired, was followed by polite men who said, 'Ca va habiba'(the only thing I could make out!) and was walked to a taxi by a Frenchman with whom I discussed race- he didn't know he was Caucasian. Beat that in your next trip. -)
Now, the first option costs a ton of money but is much more fun. The second is a little cheaper but infinitely more boring and not much of a "vacation". Who wants to see all these relatives anyway. There's a good reason why I live 2000 miles away in the first place.
Decisions, decisions.
I'll probably end up staying at home and using the money to pay bills. Yuck.
Are Somalis the only tourist attraction in Min.? Stay with the relatives and spend your days seeing things the locals take for granted. Drop the OR out of your consideration; replace it with AND. Much more fun thinking that way; u'll also find a way to tick all the boxes as a result.
